Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on www.recideck.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

In short: we do not use tracking, analytics, advertising or profiling cookies on this Site. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not asked to dismiss a cookie banner.

This policy covers the Site only. The ReciDeck mobile app does not use cookies; how the app handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for this Site is:

Bruno Dini Via Vecchia Pesciatina 912B 55100 Lucca (LU), Italy [privacy@recideck.com]

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to recognise your device, remember your choices, or collect information about how you use the site.

We also use the term to cover similar technologies such as local storage, which works in much the same way.

Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested do not require consent. Every other kind does. We only use the first kind.

3. Cookies we use

Only technical cookies, set by our hosting provider Framer B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands) to deliver the Site, balance server load, and protect against abuse and automated attacks.

These are strictly necessary for the Site to function, are not used to identify you or to track your behaviour, and expire when you close your browser or shortly afterwards. Under Italian and EU law they do not require your consent.

4. What we do not use

  • No analytics cookies. No Google Analytics, no _ga cookies, no third-party measurement tags.

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies. No Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tags, no conversion pixels.

  • No profiling. We do not build a profile of you, here or across other websites.

  • No social media trackers. Links to our social profiles are ordinary links; they load nothing until you click them.

  • No data sold or shared with data brokers or advertising networks.

5. How we measure visits without cookies

We use the analytics built into our hosting platform, Framer. It counts page views, unique visitors, referring sources and which pages are most read.

It does this without cookies and without creating any persistent identifier. Visitor counts are calculated by hashing an IP address and browser user agent together with a secret value that is regenerated and destroyed every day, so the same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next, and no individual can be identified from the result.

Because no information is stored on or read from your device, this requires no consent.

6. Our mailing list

If you choose to give us your email address, it is sent directly to our email provider so we can tell you when ReciDeck launches. Submitting the form does not place any cookies on your device. What we do with your email address, how long we keep it, and how to unsubscribe are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Controlling cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Instructions are available for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

Since we only use strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may prevent parts of the Site from working properly, but it will not stop us collecting anything about you — we are not collecting it in the first place.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format.

To exercise these rights, contact us at [privacy@recideck.com].

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority in your country of residence.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if we introduce new tools or if the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.

If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting it, and this page will be updated first.
